Welcome to our website!
 
Our name's are Gail Pugh and Shelly Johnson and we are mother and daughter who are on a mission to bring together families through the fascination of the growing Vegan Movement.  The more articles we read and videos we watch has brought us into a love and appreciation of a plant-based lifestyle.  
 
Our family has went through our fair share of health issues in the past.   We decided to go down a path of taking our health into our own hands by seeking the truth and finding answers to living a life full of purpose, abundance, and love for all. 
 
Might a plant-based, vegan lifestlye be a solution to the health crisis our world is facing?
 
Can our bodies better adapt and retain a plant-based, vegan food over animal products?  
 
Shelly is a wife and mother of 3 young boys and pregnant with a baby girl. She enjoys competing in triathlons and living with her family in Hawaii. She has experienced health issues including eczema, gallbladder inflammation, allergies, asthma, sinus problems, digestive issues, IBS, fatigue, foggy brain, urinary tract infections and even mono in her teens and early 20s.  Shelly went from meat to bananas overnight and has never felt better. As a Holistic Health Coach, her work and passion for education about a plant-based lifestyle didn't start evolving until after reading The China Study. This book unified her beliefs about living a plant-powered lifestyle from both perspectives of health and compassion. With many years of recipe development and raising three strong, very active boys, her love for sharing this lifestyle with others has become so rewarding just knowing how other generations will be changing as well. Gail, Shelly's mother, is married with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Her journey of seeking the Truth began over 20 years ago with a single book she gave her husband for Christmas. He was not getting answers and results from the typical Western Medical Doctors for health issues he was experiencing. Frustrated, tired and sick of not feeling he was in the best health he should be for a young man led him to change their families path forever. Over the years as the two of them sought out Alternative Medicine the Truth's became revealed. One by one they overcame each health obstacle that faced their family with empowering knowledge that was rooted from the saying by Hippocrates: "Let Food be thy Medicine and Medicine be thy Food". Being in a world of man-made toxins from GMO's, our children are given toxic vaccines, mercury has been put in our teeth, cancer has become a common occurrence, and so much more that is to be revealed...we must become educated to survive or fall victim to disease. Their family believes God wants us to have this knowledge as scripture says..."My people perish for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. She is passionate about helping others with their health goals along with being very active in ultra running in her spare time. A plant-based lifestyle has played a key role in her success, wellness, and spiritual health. Below are before and after pictures of her. Now, in her 50s, she feels healthier and stronger than ever!
