Everything I did WRONG during my first two pregnancies (and how you can avoid making the same mistakes...)
I discuss with you guys my own experiences where I gained a lot more weight with my first two boys compared to when I transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle with my last two pregnancies that completely changed the outcome of how I felt, how my babies were so much easy going and how I was able to have natural births with no meds.
There is so much confusion about what a pregnant woman can, and can't do, during pregnancy...and I want to help simplify it for you.
Below is a picture of me with my first baby boy 6 years ago. He was born 6 weeks before my wedding day. I felt so inflammed, so much lose skin in my stomach, swelling in my legs, super tired, yucky digestion and pretty much was not happy with my self even though I felt so very blessed to have this precious baby boy in my arms. I didn't know how I would pull myself together for my wedding day.
Fast forward, 6 years later this is me in the next picture holding my precious baby girl after already having 3 boys. My face was not swollen, my stomach was almost flat after just one day of having my baby girl, I felt ready to workout even though I didn't until a couple weeks postpartum, I had lots of energy, I felt so happy and was able to have a natural childbirth with just my essential oils and a hot shower. Thank you, God, for showing me the path to your plant-based kingdom so I could provide my baby and myself with nourishing food to thrive. I'm on a mission to others, just like you, have a beautiful pregnancy and how to feel so awesome afterward.
Labor Essential Oils:
Full Term: Clary Sage Oil to Help induce naturally. This oil should not be used throughout pregnancy. Clary Sage rubbed on ankles, lower back and stomach 2-3 times per day when full term. I diffused as well at night. At 37 weeks I made a capsule to insert in birth canal every night with 2 drops frankincense, 2 drops rose, and 2 drops melaleuca to help soften the cervix and to help prevent any infection for baby. Note: these are all from doTERRA essential oils. I'm not a doctor, just sharing with you what worked with two pregnancies for me, so make sure to always consult with your doctor beforehand.
During labor have some essential oil roller balls on hand for your partner. I read the Bradly Method for natural childbirth (the book can be found on Amazon)
Newborn Essentials: Frankincense on the top of the head, Myrhh on the belly button to help with infection and to help with grounding the baby to bring closer to mom. The Frankincense helps bring closer to father. Balance on back and feet to balance the babies cells in the babies body and is like a chiropractor in a bottle.
Essential Oils after labor: I used the same roller for pain on the stomach for uterine contractions after labor. I put frankincense on my stomach to help tighten it back up and for swelling as well as a couple drops under my tongue to help with immune system, focus, absorption of nutrients and to help balance me. I also made a spray with the doTERRA Immortal roller. I poured out half the bottle into a 4oz spray bottle and filled the rest with doTERRA fractionated coconut oil. I sprayed this every time I went to the bathroom to help stomach bleeding in the birth canal and soothe the pain from having a baby. This is great for skin so I sprayed on my face and arms.
Prenatal Supplements: I use the doTERRA Life Long Vitality Pack, which has been a huge blessing with my health and my babies. Everything is packed into these in a plant-based, non-synthetic way. They contain essential oils to help absorbed the vitmains and minerals.
